We personally love African coffees. There’s something about the complexity in all of them that never disappoints and is truly exciting to watch them change over the days off roast. This washed process Rwanda is a very nice example of the complexity that exists in the African coffee culture. This light roast gently coaxes out a sugar cane like sweetness through most of the cup while transitioning into a grape like juiciness and a light citrus quality that walks the line of grapefruit, similar to a Kenyan coffee. We;re stoked on this coffee and it’s a cafe favorite on our shop pour over bar.
